Japan : memorial bamboo candles - no comment

Each year, a three-day event gathers Hita City’s inhabitants together around illuminations. This year, the event celebrates memories of those who died during torrential rains that hit the region last summer. Already 30 000 bamboo candles have been lit and lined up along the river.
