Israeli has described as "political theatre" the trial in Turkey of four Israeli military commanders over the deadly storming of a Gaza-bound aid ship.
Hundreds of protesters chanted as the court case began in Istanbul on Tuesday.
Among those being tried in absentia is the former head of the Israeli army.
Nine Turks were killed during the raid by Israeli marines in 2010.
