One artist has recently gained quite a bit of attention with his works, arranging miniature concrete figures in varied outdoor locations. Isaac Cordal is a Spanish street artist who intricately places figurines in public places in a project called ‘cement eclipses’.

Among his works, there's one titled, ‘Remembrances from nature’, where miniature concrete people are standing in the road viewing a framed photo. Another exhibit shows somber-looking figurines standing around a cross in a piece called ‘Funeral for a concrete figure ‘.

Other exhibits send off a different vibe visually describing humans camouflaging their bodies into the city. One photo shows the stone people face down on the ground, while another depicts men almost fully submerged in a puddle.

Cordal says “these scenes zoom in the routine tasks of the contemporary human being. The small sculptures contemplate the demolition and reconstruction of everything around us. They catch the attention of the absurdity of our existence.”
