"I’m Alive, I’m Not Dead" Man Turns Up To His Own Wake

A family from a small town in the northeast of Brazil had the scare of their lives when the relative they thought they were burying turned up at his own wake. Hearing rumors of his own “death” 41 year old Gilberto Araujo walked into the room where the service for his wake was being held:
"When I walked through the door I saw the coffin and was a bit flabbergasted. I asked what is this, and they said it was a service for me, and I said to them I'm alive, I'm not dead,"
Gilberto hadn’t been seen by his friends or family for months, hence the mistaken identity of the body. An investigation is now underway to discover the real identity of the dead man.
