Titans made it two wins out of two with a convincing 59-run win over Auckland, whose own winning run came to an end with Jacques Rudolph, Farhaan Behardien and Alfonso Thomas turning on the style. Auckland set a record but by then it was too little too late.
It is also too late for Kolkata to do anything about their semi-final chances. Their match against Perth was washed out which means they are out of the competition despite still having one game remaining in the group.
