Global stock markets spiraled out of control on Monday October 19, 1987 and crashed as Wall Street suffered its greatest loss ever in a single day when the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) plummeted 508 points.
For the 25th anniversary of the 1987 crash, IBTimes TV caught up with Ben Willis, the Managing director at Albert Fried & Company, where he talked about his own person experience while working on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange during the crash, as well as what safeguards have been put in place since then and if another Black Monday is looming.
