Nicole Kidman honored in New York

Actress Nicole Kidman was radiant in red at the 50th New York Film Festival in Manhattan.
The event not only served as the U.S. premiere for her new film "The Paperboy," but also paid tribute to her cinematic career.
When asked whether she felt satisfied by her array of roles, her answer was a quick "no".

"I actually feel that I'm still open to being mined if that makes sense, that I still have this well of emotions and ideas and experiences that I hope different directors will give me the opportunity, or will take a shine to letting me try things with them. Because that's my favorite thing, is the relationship between the actor and director and then the other actors -- that combination of all of us working together is what I'm absolutely dedicated to."
The Australian was accompanied by her husband, musician Keith Urban, who praised his wife's talents.

"I think in Paperboy I just love the places she explores in the character. Cause I love her bravery and her courage, as an artist she's really inspiring."
In "The Paperboy" Kidman plays a trailer-trash bombshell who is obsessed with a man on death row with whom she exchanges letters.
Director Lee Daniels says Kidman's courage is what makes her an honor worthy actress.
