One woman in Southern Brazil has decided to auction off her virginity as part of a film documentary, in what she calls a business move. The 20-year-old female, named Catarina stumbled across the Virgins Wanted website and made a video, which gained the producer’s attention.
She will receive the majority of money from the winning bid, but she must pass a gynecological examination, proving the virginity is still intact. A certificate of health must also be provided as no condom will be used during the encounter. The auction ends on October 15th, but thus far the bidding has reached $155 thousand dollars.
In 2009, another woman placed her virginity out there for the highest bidder. 22-year-old Natalie Dylan partnered with the well known brothel, The Moonlite Bunny Ranch, located in Nevada where prostitution is still legal.
Over 10,000 bidders reportedly participated in the auction.
