U.N. special envoy Lakhdar Brahimi visits refugees at a camp in Turkey.

The mediator, who took over from Kofi Annan earlier this month, spoke to Syrians who have fled the violence at home.

Turkey is now home to more than 80,000 Syrian refugees.

During talks with local officials, Brahimi expressed hope the displaced could return to neighbouring Syria.
