Egypt's Hosni Mubarak trial: verdicts and sentences

The former Egyptian president has been sentenced to life in prison for his role in killing hundreds of protesters during the revolution that toppled him last year.

But he was acquitted on charges of corruption, along with his two sons.

The former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly was given a life sentence for ordering security forces to open fire on protesters.

Six of his aides were also on trial. They were acquitted on all charges - including corruption and conspiring to kill protesters.

Here is the decision as it was handed down by the presiding judge Ahmed Refaat.
