Grandmother gives birth to grandson via surrogate pregnancy

According to the Herald, Hebert’s mother, 49-year-old Linda Sirois, had offered for years to be a surrogate mother for her daughter in case she could not get pregnant. Hebert and her husband, Brian, got the news last summer.
After getting many rejections from fertility clinics because of her age, Sirois finally got a ‘yes’ from the Reproductive Science Center in Lexington, Mass. She successfully became pregnant with her daughter’s fertilized egg on the first attempt.
