In Egypt, Islamist parties are expected to continue their winning streak in the second round of parliamentary elections on Wednesday.

The areas they are targeting for success include Menoufia, the hometown of the ousted President Hosni Mubarak.

While there is no love lost for Mubarak there, some are concerned about the new emerging powers - parties which were banned under the former president's rule.

Al Jazeera's Rawya Rageh reports from Menoufia.
