Texas executes Mexican national despite Obama plea

US state of Texas has executed Humberto Leal Garcia, 38, a Mexican national, despite an unusual appeal by the US president Barack Obama. Leal Garcia was not informed of his right to consular services as a Mexican national. Monica Villareal reports.
