Despite all the other devices available, we still spend hours every day watching TV, and manufactures continue to push the limits of screen sizes.

Now, LG is premiering the world’s largest ultra definition television. The TV has an 84 inch screen, 8.2 million pixels per frame and supports 4K picture format. An LG executive states, “The 4K display market is still in its infancy but it was important for LG to claim a stake in this space.”

The new model well surpasses the high definition phenomenon specs, with 3,840 vertical lines and 2,160 horizontal lines across the screen, giving it the ‘ultra definition’ title. However, the super techno TV comes with a pocket-hurting price of approximately $22,000.

The ‘ultra’ TV’s will be up for sale in September.

Earlier this summer, another TV maker boasted what was called the “biggest TV in the world”. Sharp released an LED high definition television with a 90 inch screen. Dubbed the Aquos LED TV; it possessed a hefty price tag of $11,000.

So now you know your options for Christmas?
