We're taking a detailed look at the Asus U32V, a 13.3 inch ultraportable laptop that pcks quite some punch.

This is not an ultrabook, as it's not thin or light enough to meet the criteria, but it's also significantly cheaper than an ultrabook, going for about $600. And it's also faster, cause the U32V from Asus packs a full-power Intel Core i5-3210M processor, 8 GB of RAM and a dedicated Nvidia GT 620 M graphics chip.

Those allow it to fly in daily apps, although the regular HDD kind of drags the entire experience down. You can replace it with an SSD if you want to though.

The Asus U32V also offers 8+ hours of battery life during everydya use, which is actually better than most ultrabooks offer right now.

So all in all, the Asus U32V is a great portable laptop, if you need the extra performances and can deal with the bulk. See the review on http://www.tlbhd.com for more details.
