South Sudan says Sudan has declared war

South Sudan's president has accused Sudan of declaring war on his country. Salva Kiir is in Beijing looking for diplomatic and economic support from China.

Talking to the Chinese president Hu Jintao, Kiir condemned Sudanese air raids on South Sudan's territory. Both sides are reported to be reinforcing troop numbers along the border.
