Syam(NTR) is great painter, but have no money to eat also. Rama Rao is his friend and he is a poet. They both together in room for rent in a village. Once Syam saw a beautiful girl named janaki and painted her potrait. She fell in love with him on seeing her paint. Finally Janaki asked Syam to take blessings from her father(Rajanala) for their marriage. Rajanala put a condition to syam to spend 1 lakh rupees in a limited time. With in no time he starts spending money to win his love. But the money starts getting double for every rupee in that 1 lakh. Finally how he spent the money and won his love or not? is the main theme of the movie.
