Earlier this week, Chris Myers and his teenage son were body surfing at Ballston Beach when Myers was attacked by a suspected shark. The attack occurred around 3:30 in the afternoon, with Myers displaying massive injuries to both legs, suspected to be from one large bite. A surgeon was on the beach during the incident and was able to treat Myers while waiting for paramedics. The brave victim remained conscious during the ordeal giving a thumbs up sign when asked if he was all right.
