Colombia resettles conflict-displaced farmers

Decades of conflict between the Colombian army and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, the country's largest rebel group, have forced millions of people, many of whom were farmers, to flee their homes in rural areas.

Through a new restitution programme, the government is helping return the displaced families to their rich agricultural lands.

But some of those who have been resettled say that authorities are not doing enough to protect them.
