This lesson covers the bass line from the Morris Day and the Time song “777-9311” from their 1981 self-titled album. The Time was a creation of Prince’s led by high school friend and sometimes “rival” Morris Day. Prince famously played most if not all of instruments on all of the Time’s records .

Blyss is a bassist from New Orleans who now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently plays bass for the legendary Zigaboo Modeliste of the Meters Urban Punk ft. Latoya London and a host of theater companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.
