Spanish journalist says Bab Amr in "deep humanitarian crisis"

Javier Espinosa, a Spanish journalist who has reported for El Mundo newspaper since 2002, says the Bab Amr district in Homs has suffered deeply while under nearly a month of siege from government forces.

Espinosa, one of four journalists who have escaped from the city in recent days, said few buildings were considered safe in the neighbourhood, but shorter ones were preferred, since activists thought they would not be targeted as heavily.
