Syrian protesters remain defiant

In Syria, the government's attempts to crush protesters has only made them more defiant.

Everytime they step out onto the streets, they risk being killed or injured by their own army.

Human rights groups have said the government has killed an estimated 2,000 people since March. But still, protesters continue to march in cities across the country.
