Scores drowned in Zanzibar ferry sinking

Almost 200 hundred people have died after a ferry capsized off the East African coast between Tanzania and Zanzibar.

It is being described as the worst incident in Zanzibar's history, and there are fears the death toll could be much higher.

Investigators are not ruling out technical problems, but witnesses have said that the vessel was overloaded.

Al Jazeera's East Africa correspondent, Nazanine Moshiri, reports.
