Volcano victims overwhelm Indonesian hospitals

Rescue workers in Indonesia continue to search through the remains of many villages destroyed by the Mount Merapi volcano, which has so far claimed the lives of more than 122 people since late last month.

The rescuers have also stepped up efforts to provide relief to about 200,000 people displaced from their homes following the eruptions that covered vast areas with scalding ash and poisonous gas. Thousands have taken shelter in makeshift government camps.

Bernard Smith reports on how burnt victims are overwhelming hospitals in the country.
