Ferrell and Galifianakis start campaigning

Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis stump in Los Angeles.
The funnymen held a political styled press conference to promote their new comedy, "The Campaign."
Galifianakis and Ferrell play rival congressional candidates, who try to bury each with mud-slinging and back-stabbing.
During the whistle-stop tour, both 'candidates' pursed their lips and attempted their best attention grabbing noise, with mixed results.
SOUNDBITE: Will Ferrell, actor, saying (English):
"So I'll start with my best whistle ... wait, do you hear that? Can everyone be quite please. Quiet in the Grove please. Can we tell everyone at PacSun to quiet down. [faint whistling noise] That's my best whistle."
Ferrell, who honed his political chops playing President George W. Bush on Saturday Night Live, pointed out what he considered to be a key trait of an electable candidate.

"Diction, proper diction. I take that back, George Bush was elected for eight years, so, he didn't quite have that," said Ferrell. "Normally, proper diction, and tall, you have to be tall."
The duo will battle their way into U.S. theaters on August 10.
