Leading the Horse out of its Loose-Box

  • vor 12 Jahren
To lead the horse out of its loose-box we need a halter and a lead-rope. The halter has to be placed on the horse’s head and the rope is used to be able to hold on to the horse and lead the horse out of the box. When putting on the halter always stay on the left hand side of the horse. Most horses are used to be lead, saddled, snaffled and haltered from the left. Always carry the lead-rope and don’t leave it hanging on the ground because the horse might step or trip on it. If there is not much room to lead the horse out of the loose-box, like here, make sure to walk infront of the horse. Never let the horse surpass you and pull you behind it.
