Smith: "Er is geen druk, behalve dan de druk die ik mezelf opleg. Die is echter zo hevig dat het me er vaak van weerhoudt om dingen af te maken waarvan ik denk dat ze minder dan perfect zijn. Ik ben erg kritisch over het materiaal dat ik schrijf. Daarom is mijn output beperkt."
