Police use teargas at Sudan protest

Protests break out at one of the largest mosques in Sudan's capital Khartoum - as demonstrations against government spending cuts gain momentum.
A witness said police had surrounded the mosque after Friday prayers - and fired teargas at protesters throwing stones.
Several people were arrested.
The demonstrations were started by students on university campuses but have spread into the suburbs in the past two weeks.
Sudan has seen rising inflation since South Sudan seceded a year ago, taking about three quarters of the country's oil.
Activists have been trying to build momentum to topple the government of President Oman Hassan al-Bashir who has been power since 1985.
Large demonstrations - usually quickly dispersed by police - are rare in Sudan, which avoided last year's "Arab Spring" protests.
