Al Qaeda-linked arms smugglers arrested in Tunisia

During a raid against arms smugglers, the Tunisian army attacked vehicles believed to be transporting weapons from Libya to Algeria.
Fighter jets fired on the convoy during a routine patrol of the Tunisian desert of Tataouine.
Tents for training militants were also found in the area, according to army reports.
People arrested are said to belong to al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb.
