Australian search and rescue teams bring more survivors to land two days after a boat laden with suspected asylum seekers capsized in the Indian Ocean.

On Saturday 105 had been brought to the Christmas Island detention centre.

Immigration officials say the arrivals are getting help to contact their families.

SOUNDBITE: IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT OFFICER JOE FIELD SAYING (English);

"What we're doing is focusing on their well being and ensuring that we facilitate what we call a life call so that they can contact their relatives."

Five bodies have been recovered so far and up to 90 people are still missing.

An air and sea search has been launched.

It's thought about 200 suspected asylum seekers were aboard the boat when it capsized on Thursday.
