Classic Game Room - FIRE SHARK for Sega Genesis review

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of FIRE SHARK for the Sega Genesis 16 Bit Mega Drive video game console system. This SHMUP vertical scrolling shooter on the Megadrive is a very fun and challenging airplane shooter. You pilot a biplane against an enemy with all kinds of weapons, tanks, battleships and gun turrets. Your FIRESHARK is the amazing fire-based weapon that spews beams of red hire fire all over the screen and wipes out the enemies. Fireshark is a good game but not as good as MUSHA or Thunder Force III in our opinion. However it is a cheap game and easy to pick up on ebay. Fire Shark is like a maniac shooter and is as much fun as many of the core shmups like Raiden 3 or Ikaruga with excellent controls, power ups and gameplay. The footage shows teh game off nicely, even though the graphics are a bit sub par on the Genny. This probably is not a title we're expecting to see on PS3, Xbox 360 Live Arcade or Wii any time soon. Made by Toaplan for the Genesis. Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD.
