A Catholic church in Mexico is being investigated following allegations it received funds from a major drugs cartel.

Heriberto Lazcano, one of the leaders of the Zetas gang, is said to have laundered money via the chapel's priest.

US authorities are offering a bounty of more than $7 million for Lazcano.
