Taiwan Post Office compared to sweatshop for forcing mailmen to give up overtime pay

Taiwan's Post Office is being compared to sweatshops after forcing mailmen to give up overtime pay. Chunghwa Post was recently ranked third among enterprises for the level of violations during a recent labor inspection. According to some mailmen, they were forced to sign waivers giving up overtime pay. Others said they were under so much pressure they needed professional help from psychiatrists. In response the Minister of Transportation and Communications has called for a full scale review of the current regulations.
