US troops have started to pull out of the Iraqi capital.

The Obama administration has promised to reduce troop numbers in Iraq to 50,000 by the end of August.

The troops who left on Wednesday are the first group of US soldiers to leave the Iraqi capital who will not be replaced.

And they are happy to be heading home.
