In October 2007 Genevia Askander, a 30-year old humanitarian worker in Iraq, was returning home from church when the car she was in was sprayed with bullets.

The deadly shooting was blamed on a US private security firm, Unity Resources Group.

Almost three years after Genevia's death Jalal Askander, her father, is seeking justice in a US court.

Anand Naidoo reports.
