The funeral of Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the younger brother of the UAE president and the managing director of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds with assets estimated at more than $600bn, has been held in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Sheikh Ahmed, who was named by Forbes magasine the world's 27th most powerful person, was found dead on Tuesday four days after his ultralight aircraft crashed into a lake in Morocco.
