Obama urges progress in Russia ties - 7 Jul 09

Barack Obama, the US president, has given a keynote speech on his two-day trip to Moscow, saying that the United States wants a "strong and peaceful" Russia.

The address came on the second day of Obama's visit to Russia's capital and followed his first meeting with Vladimir Putin, the Russian prime minister.
