Talks aimed at settling differences between the rival Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas have repeatedly failed for years.
Despite many attempts by various countries to mediate, the divide, which has often lead to killings and tit-for-tat arrests, still seems as wide as ever.
But a town in the West Bank is serving as an example of what can be achieved when the two groups work together as partners.
