A solemn day for the families of plane crash victims in Indonesia.

Nearby, a line of coffins waits - the remains of 45 people killed when a Russian plane went down during a demonstration flight on May 9.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 crashed into a volcano in Java with 35 Indonesians, eight Russians, one American and one French citizen on board.

Psychologists spoke to family members to ensure they were ready for what they were about to see.

(SOUNDBITE) (Bahasa Indonesia) MOTHER OF VICTIM HENY STEFANI, NUR LEILA SAYING:

"I have seen the name of the victims on every coffin. I have found my daughter's coffin. They opened it for me. I have seen her."

Authorities said they would release the coffins to the families on Wednesday, two weeks after the crash.
