Sporadic fighting continues in Tripoli

Rebels in Tripoli are using Muammar Gaddafi's compound as a staging area to plan operations and discuss deployments.

They have also set up checkpoints around the city and say they are trying to root out Gaddafi loyalists.

The rebels have had great success in taking control of large parts of Tripoli. But there are still parts that they can't even enter, and Gaddafi supporters look like they are willing to fight to the end.

Al Jazeera's Zein Basravi reports.
