Depicting post-Mubarak Egypt

Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak has appeared in a Cairo court and denied charges of murder and corruption.

State prosecutor Mustafa Suleiman accused Mubarak of having the "intention to kill" peaceful protesters during Egypt's revolution. About 850 people died and thousands were injured during the unrest.

Tarek Osman, the author of "Egypt on the Brink - From Nasser to Mubarak", told Al Jazeera about the major factors that will come in to play with Mubarak out of power.
