Effects of apartheid linger in South Africa - 21 Apr 09

Though racial segregation ended 15 years ago, South Africa is still plagued by the lingering effects of decades of apartheid.

But as South Africans prepare to vote in national elections, the country's younger generations say a society defined by race is all but inconceivable.

Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from Johannesburg that many youth say they believe real change is in their hands, despite what has happened in the past.
