Volkswagen has widened the palette of Beetle motors with two new smaller, fuel-efficient engines. A diesel with 77 kilowatts and a gasoline with 118 kilowatts. These"downsized"motors have smaller capacity, fuel injection, and electric charging.Thanks to these specifications, the 1.6 TDI Beetle needs only 4.5 liters of fuel for 100 kilometers and gets a top speed of 180 kilometers per hour. The lowest-priced of the new Beetles is the 1.2 TSI fuel-injected gasoline version. It burns 5.9 liters per 100 kilometers and can also reach 180 kilometers an hour.
