S African president urges Zimbabwe political unity - 29 Aug 09

Jacob Zuma, South Africa's president, has called on Zimbabwe's rival leaders to work together to ensure access to foreign aid vital to restoring the country's shattered economy.

But Zuma, who was in the country for talks with Zimbabwe's political leaders, returned home without a deal to overcome the obstacles threatening to cripple the unity government.
