Director Priyadarshan said that 'Tezz' is his first thriller film and what sets it apart from other films from the same genre is that 'Tezz' is a thriller with emotions and the film is a cat and mouse game between ajay devgn and anil kapoor, who play a bomber and a cop respectively. priyadarhsan also spoke about the other elements of the films like its music and stunt direction. Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat's latest item number 'Laila' in Priyadarshan's forthcoming action thriller, 'Tezz' has not apparently gone down well with the director as he says it was not required and was added just for promotions."I never wanted the item song in the film but the producers (Ratan Jain of Venus) said we are a musical company and hence it came in the film.
