A car carrying his casket drove slowly into the stadium in Pescara where he suddenly collapsed during a match on Saturday.
He is believed to have died from cardiac arrest.
However, a post mortem on Monday proved inconclusive.
Morosini's funeral is scheduled for Thursday in Bergamo.
