Behind her coy smile, Daniela Brooker is something special.
Her awe inspiring talent and all encompassing passion for music and the creative process is what sets rising star Daniela apart from her peers. Blessed with a voice of power and restraint, capable of heart stopping intensity, the 17 year old is never going to be just an ordinary pop star.
Her love of music started young as it was a constant theme in the family home. From The Rat Pack to Queen, The Beatles to Etta James, she was exposed to and absorbed an eclectic range of music throughout her childhood and formative years.
"I remember first stepping into the recording studio, I was really nervous to begin with but after a matter of minutes, I realised this is what I want to do for the rest of my life and I have not wavered or thought about doing anything else since. The recording studio is my sanctuary, a second home and although it's hard work and long hours I cannot wait to get back and keep recording and exploring music. It's a fantastic journey of discovery and I push myself every day to keep challenging and creating a diverse range of music."
She brings a spirit of spontaneity to her music, an infused combination of rock and pop, a "Power Pop".
"My style of music is a cross between R&B, hip hop to pop rock. It varies across all genres. I've got tracks like 'Superwoman' which is influenced by hip hop, 'Heartlocked' which is quite rock in style and then 'Growing Up With You', acoustic, which really lets me show my voice."
Blessed with being bilingual in English & Spanish, Daniela writes and sings in both languages. Her inspiration coming from not only personal experiences but through the observation of people.The album currently in the final stages of recording will definitely spark international interest as Daniela and her unique image are poised to sculpt a new era in the music industry.
With her fundamental talent, outstanding vocal range and writing ability, Daniela has established musical talents clamouring to work with her and the result thus far is a covetable collection of songs that showcase her brilliance and will span the generations.
She has been lucky to work with acclaimed producer Louis Read known for his projects with Mary J Blige, The Noisettes and Tom Jones. Paul Garred from The Kooks and also Rob Harris of Jamiroquai who are also pivotal team players in the Daniela Brooker project.
The future promises to be exhilarating, Daniela is poised and ready to capture the hearts of millions of people round the world and establish herself as a success. What lies ahead should prove to be an amazing journey for her.
