Netanyahu warns against renewed talks with Iran

After meeting with his Canadian counterpart in Ottawa, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rules out the idea of international talks to prevent Iran from gaining nuclear weapons.
(SOUNDBITE) (English)ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU, SAYING:
"It (Iran) could do again what it has done before, it could pursue or exploit the talks as they've done in the past to deceive and delay so that they can continue to advance their nuclear program and get to the nuclear finish line by running up the clock, so to speak"
just as the United States is pursuing a diplomatic tack.
Standing alongside Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Netanyahu made the remarks as the U.S. pursues a diplomatic course that includes santions.
Netanyahu will meet President Barack Obama on Monday to address growing differences between the two leaders over what Washington fears could be an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear sites.

"Look at what Iran is doing today, without nuclear weapons. I mean it is arranging, it is in Gaza, it is in Lebanon with Hezbollah giving them tens of thousands of rockets,. it is in Afghanistan. It is in the horn of Africa. It is in the Arabian peninsula, It is threatening to choke the worlds oil supply by shutting the Straits of Hormuz, in South Americas. They sent children into minefields, their own children, They hang gays, they stone women., This is what they are doing today, without nuclear weapons, -- imagine what a regime like this would do if it had atomic weapons."
While Obama's preferred policy for now is diplomacy, some of his strongest comments yet came in an interview published on Friday -- saying that "all options are on the table"adding that the final option was the quote "military component."
