Professor John Neoptolemos is a world expert on pancreatic cancer. He is leading a large clinical trial, ESPAC-4, to improve treatment for people with the disease.
Each year, around 7,800 people in the UK are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sadly, the disease is difficult to treat and survival rates are poor. To improve this situation we urgently need to find better treatments for pancreatic cancer.
