In the year of 1942, God was appeared in a form of snake to a saint, named as Iddepalli Dasu. The monument of God Idol was found in the process of digging the area to construct the temple. There devotees believe that idole is a swayambhu, and come there from different places to worship the God Subramanyeshwara swamy.
